There's a couple of people -- and lots of cats! -- behind the scenes here at Turkish Muse.
Barbara J. Isenberg, the author. Read more about me here!
Jeff, my darling husband, my partner in crime, my best friend. This man is the absolute best thing that ever happened to me, and I try to never let him forget it. Jeff teaches English literature and enjoys Star Trek and playing the saz.
Our Cats:
Andy: Also known as Andy Banany Boy, Annnndeeeeee!, and The Gentle Giant, Andy and his sister Lou (see below) were abandoned at my parents' house before Jeff and I picked them up three years ago and brought them home with us. Andy's favorite spot to sleep is between the pillows on our bed.
Lou: Known as Little Lou and Woo Woo, little Lou is a daddy's girl. She loves nothing more than to sit on Jeff's lap as he tries to work at his desk in the office. She also keeps me company during the working day by sleeping on the modem next to my laptop.
Phoenix: Also known as Fatty Fat Fat Fat and Big P!, Phoenix entered our home in December 2007 right after the death of our kitten Sansli. Phoenix enjoys watching television and listening to Mozart.
Frankie Jr.: Named after Old Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) and the many men in South Philly named Frankie, our orange kitty is a real .... challenge. I picked him up off the street in the summer of 2008. You can read more about that here and here. Frankie's favorite activity is chasing shiny treasures (little balls of aluminum foil).
